Training Testimonials

Bowling IQ is the most state of the art bowling training facility our team has ever been in. My high school team loved practicing there and learned so much in such a short time in the classroom. The kids were able to see how the middle of the road pattern would play on the same lane surface that they would be bowling on in the state finals, it was a major advantage to be able to do that before they competed, and it paid off as they bowled well in the state finals and finished 3rd overall in the state for the 2011 season. It is something that we are planning to do for high school bowlers every year now!

On a personal note:

My daughter (Lindsey) loves the coaching and practicing at Bowling IQ and it obviously worked, she won the state championship this season. It doesn't get any better than that!

Hello,

I give my coaching experience at Bowling IQ two thumbs up! I've only had an assessment session done so far, but from what I experienced through that, I plan on going back to start lessons. Going into the session, I was having issues with chronic knee pain that I was noticing was getting progressively worse every time I would bowl to the point where I was bowling games so low that I was better off marking myself absent and having my team just take my average instead. I had gone to the doctors to get it looked at and he didn't notice anything wrong, so I was put on medication for 2 weeks. The medication didn't work so Bowling IQ was my last hope. What an experience! T.J. didn't change how I bowled at all but just changed my set-up and helped correct my timing and how to finish. I noticed a difference almost instantly and now feel so much more comfortable bowling. I haven't had knee pain since. I can't wait to get started with lessons to improve my skills even more. Bowling IQ is amazing!

Speaking on behalf of my son.

He is a 14-year old freshman. He started out with a solid set of fundamentals, but, wanted to make the Varsity program at Stevenson. He needed to iron out some flaws to make that jump. Getting him into a series of lessons at Bowling IQ under TJ Yeip proved to be a good investment in his bowling future.

From a point in September where he was flirting with a 200 average in stretches, he finished his freshman year with a 213 in the MAC Red. He made all-conference and all-County, and later posted his first 300 game. He has also qualified for USBC Jr. Gold and is working out at Bowling IQ to prepare for our trip to Las Vegas in July.

A key part in achieving this improvement has been the availability of instruction. Bowling IQ's hours and the availability of the staff after school, evenings and weekends are big selling points. Time management is difficult with jobs, school and after school schedules. Being able to set up a 7PM appointment the one day we have available is worth a lot and keeps the continuity of instruction.
